Vorwort
Im Blasorchester spielen Tenorhorn und Bariton als bewegte
Mittelstimmen eine besonders wichtige Rolle. Die vorliegende
Solo-Suite will jungen und älteren Tenorhornisten, Bariton-
und Euphoniumspielern Gelegenheit geben, solistisch zu lernen,
zu üben, vorzuspielen. Die vier Sätze stellen unterschiedliche Anforderungen.

Besonderer Wert – ohne jede Begleitung ist der Solist wirklich allein! – ist auf das
Ausarbeiten von Dynamik und Artikulation zu legen.
Etwas geringere Ansprüche an Spieltechnik und Tonhöhe stellt die als Heft 43
erschienene Solosonate “Auf bestem Weg“

Quick fingers Solo-Suite for Tenor Horn / Euphonium

Preface
In wind orchestra tenor horn and baritone as moving middle voices play an especially
important part. The present solo-suite is about to give young and advanced tenor
hornists, baritone and euphonium players a possibility of learning solostic parts, of
practising and performing. The four movements present different difficulties.
A special value – without any accompaniment the solist really is abandoned – you are
obliged to lay upon the completion of dynamics and articulation. Less claims in technique
of play and pitch the presented solo sonate “In my best way” (Auf bestem Weg) gives in
the exercise-book 43.
